The guiding principle, Wîtaskêwin, speaks to sharing the land or sharing resources. This value guides us to give back to the communities where we live and operate. SIGA shares its success with the community in three different ways.
SIGA’ sponsorship program provides a $1.25M annual investment into charitable and non-profit organizations based in Saskatchewan that focus on youth and those who are socially, physically and economically disadvantaged as well as those with special needs. SIGA encourages education and continued learning through our First Nations Scholarship Awards Program. Applications are accepted from June to October each year. Click here for more information and application.
SIGA is committed to supporting community initiatives through its employee supported volunteer program. Each year, hundreds of volunteer hours are invested by our employees to make our local communities stronger, more vibrant, and better places to live. Click here for more information.
