Lloydminster Native Friendship Centre – Aboriginal Cultural Christmas

Our mission is to contribute to the holistic well-being of our community by promoting quality of life for Aboriginal people, First Nations and Metis. Our main focus is improving the quality of life for the socially, physically and economically disadvantaged.
The Lloydminster Native Friendship Centre (LNFC) was the recipient of the National Friendship Centre 2015 Centre of Excellence Award. This award is given yearly to one of the 118 Friendship Centres nationally, in recognition of service, programs and leadership. The LNFC has a proven track record of success.
In summary, the LNFC will be holding an Aboriginal Cultural Christmas for the less fortunate and disadvantaged Aboriginal people. The tentative date is December 13, 2015.The event will be for all ages and gender.
We will have a free traditional Christmas meal, entertainment, dancing and singing, and story-telling by the Elders. An Aboriginal Santa will be in attendance to give gifts to all the children and food hampers to  the less fortunate for Christmas day.
