Meadow Lake Hospital Foundation Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is an annual event held at the end of November every year for the last 9 years. the main portion of the event is the Gala Dinner and Tree Auction on the Saturday evening. We  the staff board and volunteers offer a huge supper for the seniors, their families and friends, during this huge get together.  There is some  volunteer entertainment as well as the silent auction  held through out the evening. This night gives the seniors a chance to meet their family and friends for Christmas as  most seniors do not get that chance to see all these  relatives and friends  at Christmas. Cecilian Singers – Choral Concerts

Each year the Cecilian Singers present a Winter Concert and a Spring Concert in Saskatoon, and often repeat those concerts in an outlying community.  Each concert last approximately 90 minutes.  The choir performs a variety of music raging from classical to modern.  Often a guest instrumentalist(s) or vocal group adds variety to the concert.

Town of Allen – Elks Toy Bingo

The Allan Elks is a non-profit organization helping communities by offering assistance to organizations, functions, and individuals who may need financial aid during difficult times. This event was created to help our community members who are going through difficult times around the Christmas season, so every child/family that attends may have something under their tree. All prizes are awarded in toys for youth ranging in ages pre school to teens.

Central Urban Metis Federation – Christmas Party for Elders & Children

We are hosting our 22nd Annual Children's Christmas Party/Elders Christmas Dinner. We will have  approx. 800 in attendance. During the Children's Christmas Party we serve hot dogs, homemade cookies, ice cream. Each child receives a gift and candy bag from Santa as well a picture taken if they wish to. Through out the party the children have special visitors from super hero's and princesses who interact and have their photos taken with the children as well. There is face painting…
