Over 16,000 Members qualified for our Grand Parties
– celebrating all jackpot wins totalling over $1,000.
Over 14,000 Members celebrated their birthday with
friends and family at our exclusive monthly parties.
Executed over 700 casino promotions.
With the completion in May of 2013 of the Bally
Casino Management System installation, there has
been a technical upgrade at each of our casinos which
has brought many new and exciting features to our
guests including self-serve point redemption at any slot
machine, customized electronic promotions, instant
offers, and the ability to earn points while playing table
games. Coinciding with these technical changes came
a re-brand of the SIGA Players Club.
Club Members participated in two new electronic
promotions this year. ‘U-Spin’ is a fun and interactive
game where Members qualify to spin a virtual wheel
and win free slot play prizes. The second promotion,
‘Power Winners’, is a progressive promotion to
reward Seniors with free slot play each Monday in
our SIGA-wide Seniors Day program. Watch for more
exciting promotions to be revealed in the future!
During the summer, the ‘SIGA Passport’ promotion was
successful in creating awareness of SIGA’s six casinos
while rewarding Members for their loyalty. Members
collected ‘Passport’ stamps at each casino visited, plus
received an increasing amount of free slot play for each
casino visited. Almost 1,500 Members traveled the
province, enjoying the unique entertainment at all
six of SIGA’s casinos.
In early autumn, SIGA launched our hot air balloon
program, the ultimate in large format advertising. The
custom made balloon, in the shape of a slot machine,
was seen across the skies of Saskatchewan. VIP
Members took flight on an adventure of a lifetime,
experiencing a spectacular bird’s eye view while drifting
through the sky. This specially designed balloon is
80 feet tall, 40 feet wide and made up of nearly
10,000 square feet of fabric. Scheduled to fly
throughout Saskatchewan, although mainly in SIGA
casino communities, the balloon will help raise
awareness of SIGA’s six casinos and promote the SIGA
Players Club.
Hosting concerts, dinner shows, celebrity meet and
greets and other live entertainment offerings is a way
for SIGA casinos to provide our top players with unique
entertainment experiences and to bring new customers
to our properties.
One new initiative over the last year to benefit
members was the introduction of a Players Club
Pre-Sale program. Card holders are now able to
purchase tickets for SIGA live entertainment events
three days in advance of non-PC members. We trust
that this supplementation to our loyalty program will be
perceived as a bonus to current Players Club members
as well as encourage new sign-ups.
Another way the casinos utilize entertainment to
benefit customers is to provide special events for VIPs.
The biggest event in this regard was the SIGA-wide
VIP event held on March 27th at Dakota Dunes Casino.
Top players and their guests were transported in from
around the province, provided with accommodation,
and treated to a gourmet meal followed by an exclusive
live performance by country superstar band, Lonestar.
Many other famous names graced the stages of the
SIGA Casinos over the year as well. Psychic Sylvia
Browne, legendary Chubby Checker, Johnny Cash’s
band The Tennessee Three, woman of country Jo Dee
Messina, celebrated rocker Kim Mitchell, renowned
recording artist Steve Earle, and Grand Ole Opry
member Loretta Lynn… to name a few.
Holiday and theme events also brought in new
audience members. Polkas were danced to celebrate
Ukrainian New Years, The Toronto Chinese Lion
Dancers helped us to celebrate Chinese New Year,
various tribute bands dressed up and entertained
for Halloween, and “Ballyhooly” visited to celebrate
St. Patrick’s Day, complete with Irish Dancers.
