White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) is the host site of the annual Christmas celebration. The evenet will include a delicious supper, a visit from Santa, entertainment for the children and a present. The participants will have the opportunity to socialize in a fun, healthy and safe enviroment. We are expecting 1300 participants this year.

The Yorkton Friendship Centre  ensures that the lower income Aboriginal Community of Yorkton will be able to celebrate this Christmas with a Christmas Dinner and gifts and candy bags to all the children who are the ages of 12 and under. Last year thanks we had 340 in attendance who benefited from this event. Thanks to  SIGA staff who volunteered their time we were able to serve and hand out the gifts in a timely fashion.

Nekaneet Annual Xmas Party and Round Dance

Nekaneet Annual Xmas Party is held every mid December before the holiday season.  We have a dinner for the youth and elders, followed by Christmas gift distribution for the children and youth.  We end the night off with a round dance which is attended by the youth, elders, community elders, special guests and leadership.  We have approximately over 100 people attend this event.  The community looks forward to this event each year. John Davies Christmas Hamper Program

The Qu'Appelle Valley Friendship Centre will hold it's 18th annual John Davies Christmas Hamper program this year. We provide Christmas food hampers and gifts to children 12 years and under to low income families who apply from the communities , towns , rural areas around and including Fort Qu'Appelle. Cecilian Singers – Choral Concerts

Each year the Cecilian Singers present a Winter Concert and a Spring Concert in Saskatoon, and often repeat those concerts in an outlying community. Each concert last approximately 90 minutes. The choir performs a variety of music raging from classical to modern. Often a guest instrumentalist(s) or vocal group adds variety to the concert.

Humboldt Summer Sizzler
