Sharing Success with Lloydminster

At our core, we’re committed to Sharing Success. As a non-profit organization, 100% of SIGA’s net profits are invested back into the communities where we live and work, so all may benefit.

Our vision for Gold Horse is a destination casino – and entertainment experience – whose operation helps us Share Success across the region and improve the quality of life of everyone who calls Lloydminster home.

How we do this

The new casino, like all SIGA casinos, drives economic growth in the local community by creating employment for close to 200 people – but more than that, we are dedicated to sourcing goods and services locally whenever possible, and we drive tourism, helping to attract consumers to Lloydminster’s restaurants and retail outlets.

We are also committed to giving back to our communities through sponsorships, scholarships, and volunteerism. Annually we invest $1.3 million through our Community Investment Program to provide student scholarships and to sponsor hundreds of grassroots initiatives across Saskatchewan, with a focus on youth, sport, education, health and culture. We also look for opportunities, big and small, for our employees to get involved in the community through our employee-driven volunteer program, supporting initiatives that are important to them and that have an impact in our communities. SIGA volunteers invested close to 4,000 hours in their communities in 2017-2018.
